Shelley Collier, LPC
I believe that within the narrative of every individual lies a profound need for compassion. Often, the challenges we face are not just symptoms to be managed, but invitations to explore the deeper beliefs, thoughts, and emotions that shape our choices. I am honored to walk alongside those who are navigating "brokenness," helping them move past the self-judgment that so often obscures the path to healing. In our work together, I aim to create a safe haven where your story is heard with curiosity and without shame, allowing us to uncover where love and insight are most necessary.
My counseling approach is rooted in a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that our nervous systems often adapt to difficult experiences in ways that can feel "broken" but were actually designed for survival. I work to help you identify the underlying causes of your challenges—whether they stem from relational wounds, loss, or spiritual struggles. By fostering a therapeutic space of safety and trust, we can dismantle the self-judgment that hinders growth and rediscover the hope and resilience that is already within you. I enjoy working with clients ages 7 and up, and I am committed to helping you build healthy boundaries and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
