Orrin Swayze, APC
I’m honored to work alongside adult men and adolescents (14+) who find themselves stuck in unhelpful cycles—cycles of relationship problems, unwanted behaviors/compulsions, emotional & spiritual difficulties, or thought patterns. Often without realizing it, we spend so much energy avoiding and managing these cycles, we have little left over to pursue the people we were made to be. I believe these patterns didn’t come from nowhere, but have a lot to say about our story and inner world. I’d love to explore beneath surface level of your issues to deal with the root cause of what is keeping you stuck.
About Me: My previous work in college ministry and as a high school English teacher play a large role in how I approach counseling. I am truly fascinated by people’s stories, and believe it’s imperative for each client to place their current struggles into the context of their story. When I’m not at the office, you can find me spending time with friends and family, reading fiction, watching the Braves, and being outside as much as possible.
