Mary Allred, APC

If you’re here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, hurt, or just plain confused by your current life circumstances and relationships. While I can’t undo what brought you here, my goal is to work alongside you to cultivate both the clarity and the strength you need to move through it. Whether you’ve tried countless ways to improve your situation or this is your very first step, I am here to support you in navigating life’s challenges with hope, resilience, and self-compassion.

My counseling style blends authenticity, genuine care, humor, and thoughtful curiosity to create an environment where you feel deeply seen, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll uncover patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships to enable you to make sense of your experiences, strengthen your skills and support, and cultivate a fulfilling life that feels more aligned with who you are and what you need. Our work is about facing life head-on, not avoiding it, and I am honored to be a guide and ally as you navigate both the messy and meaningful parts of your journey.

About Me: I help adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, major life transitions, depression, trauma, perfectionism, developing identities and values, and more. Whether you are managing relationship stress, stage-of-life concerns, or the challenges of multiple roles, I provide a grounded, collaborative space to gain clarity and build confidence.

My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, integrating techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), parts work, and mindfulness-based practices. I help my clients build emotional awareness, foster healthier connections with themselves and others, and sharpen their tools for both resilience and wellness. My passion is to empower clients as they explore, heal, reflect, dream, and grow.

I bring experience from inpatient clinical care as well as youth ministry, giving me a strong foundation in supporting diverse populations, navigating complex developmental and relational issues, and collaborating effectively with families and professional teams. I also enjoy integrating faith and spirituality when requested.
