What's up! I'm Immanuel. If you're reading this, something in you is already moving in the right direction.
Whether you're a parent looking for the right fit for yourself or your kid, navigating something heavy on your own, or you've tried therapy before and it just didn't click, I want you to feel like this could actually be different. I work with teens through adults across all kinds of seasons.
I'm a real person who also happens to be a clinical professional, and I bring both into the room. Our work will be intentional and collaborative. I'll challenge you when it's time, and call higher what's already in you. My approach is integrative, meaning I see the person beyond "the issue" with a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe the therapy process is bigger than only your growth and healing. It's also an opportunity to show up as a better version of you to those around you.
About Me: I'm a licensed master social worker, and I genuinely love this work. I started years ago working summer camps and after-school programs, and being people-centered stuck. Over time I grew through multiple roles in community-based mental health and private practice: admin, intake, direct service, case management, and community engagement, before completing my clinical training in individual, family, and group therapy.
Outside of the clinical world, I serve in ministry and leadership. My own life has had its share of dysfunction, relational breakdown, grief, loss, and the kind of pressure that wears you down. I'm on my own journey too, and I think that makes me a better therapist. I'm not sitting across from you as someone who has it all figured out. I'm sitting across from you as someone who understands what it means to do the work.
My background with individuals and families navigating life experiences informs how I show up: with depth, honesty, and care to get you to a better you. Outside of work, find me enjoying a good meal, traveling, spending time with friends & family, or serving the local church.
