Alex serves as one of the Directors and Supervisors of Foundation Counseling, bringing her deep clinical expertise and strategic vision to the operational and cultural heart of the practice. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Cumberland Counseling Centers, a nonprofit dedicated to making high-quality mental health care accessible to all, with whom Foundation Counseling has a trusted affiliation.

With a background that spans diverse clinical environments including psychiatric research, and private practice, Alex is passionate about building environments where both clients and clinicians can flourish. At Foundation Counseling, she draws on this breadth of experience to help shape thoughtful systems, support a thriving team culture, and ensure therapy remains centered on genuine connection and care. She is committed to seeing the practice grow in ways that honor both its mission and the people it serves.
